NFDC APPOINT VECTOR EQUILIBRIUM

Vector Equilibrium appointed by the National Federation of Demolition Contractors to design and deliver a mental health and wellbeing programme.

The NFDC has identified mental health and the wellbeing of its members and their employees as a key strategic focus for 2019; and following an announcement at the recent NFDC AGM we’re are pleased to announce that Vector Equilibrium has been selected to design and deliver the programme.

At the end of 2018 the NFDC, on behalf of its members, signed the Building Mental Health Charter, making a commitment to improving mental health in the industry. In a report commissioned by the UK government, the Construction Industry has been cited as an industry that suffers from higher than average mental ill-health and the NFDC recognises the importance in helping members address this.

As a Federation that supports their member’s needs, Vector Equilibrium has designing a bespoke programme to provide members with the tools to improve the mental health and wellbeing of their employees.

Dave Price, Managing Director commented “Employees who are in good physical and mental health will be more engaged, more motivated more productive, more resilient, less prone to absenteeism or presenteeism (which includes improved individual output) and more likely to stay with their employer.”
